With a Teltonika FMB640, FMC650 or FMM650 connected to the tachograph, driver card and vehicle unit (VU) files are downloaded over the mobile network — vehicle unit downloads are authenticated with your company card. Files are archived per driver and per vehicle, and you can see at a glance which downloads are done and which are due.
The tracker also passes on what the tachograph knows right now: each driver's activity, remaining driving time and the next required break or rest. The dispatcher sees it next to the truck on the map before promising the next load.
